AI Rap Videos: Rights, Consent and Commercial Use

Short answer: you can use AI rap videos you generate with paid credits for personal and commercial purposes, as long as you have the right to use the photo you uploaded: your own photo, or someone who agreed. Impersonating real public figures, sexual content and videos meant to harass or deceive are not allowed.

Whose photos can I use?

  • Yourself: yes.
  • Friends, family, colleagues: yes, with their permission.
  • Celebrities and public figures: no. Realistic videos of real people saying things they never said can mislead viewers and infringe on their rights.
  • Photos you found online: no, unless you have the rights and the person's consent.

Who owns the video?

Under our Terms of Service you may use the videos you generate. Copyright rules for AI-generated media differ by country. In many places, purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright at all.

Can I use it commercially?

Videos made with paid credits may be used in ads, product promos and monetized posts, as long as you have the rights to the photo and lyrics you supplied. Videos made with free signup credits are for personal, non-commercial use.

What about the music and lyrics?

The beat and vocals are generated by the AI model. If you paste lyrics, they should be your own or ones you have the rights to. Don't paste copyrighted song lyrics you don't own.

What isn't allowed?

  • Impersonating real public figures or private people without consent
  • Sexual or sexually suggestive content, and anything involving minors
  • Harassment, hate, or content meant to bully a specific person
  • Political deepfakes or anything meant to deceive viewers

Uploads and outputs are screened automatically, and reported videos are reviewed and removed. Report misuse to support@getairapvideo.dev.
