Posting AI Rap Videos on TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts

Short answer: generate in vertical 9:16 at Standard (720p, 12 s), download the MP4, and upload it natively to each app. Add a hook in the first second of the caption and turn on the platform's AI-generated label.

Which format should I choose?

All three platforms are vertical-first. Choose Vertical (9:16) in the generator. The output is 720×1280, which every app accepts without cropping.

Is 12 seconds long enough?

Yes. Short clips loop, and loops count as rewatches. To make something longer, generate two or three clips with the same photo and stage and join them in CapCut or the app's editor.

Should I post the Draft version?

No. Drafts are 480p and 8 seconds, made for testing an idea. Post the Standard or Best version.

Do I need to label it as AI?

TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ask creators to label realistic AI-generated content. Turn on the AI label when you upload. It's required for realistic depictions of people, and viewers generally respond better to transparent posts.

Caption ideas

  • "I gave AI one selfie and it gave me a record deal 🎤"
  • "POV: your group chat's main character drops a verse"
  • "Made this for [Name]'s birthday in 3 minutes"

Can I monetize these videos?

Videos generated with paid credits can be used commercially, provided you own or have permission to use the photo. Platform monetization rules still apply. See rights, consent and commercial use.
